Maxpedition Sitka Gearslinger

The Sitka Gearslinger is a sling-style bag designed to allow the user to "swing" the pack to the front while it's still being worn. This one-strap design maximizes utility when the bag is rotated to the body's front, and a ventilated, padded back keeps the wearer comfortable. Originally conceived for military and law enforcement professionals in the field, this practically indestructible sling bag enables users to bring the pack to the front while it remains on.

The main compartment measures 15 x 8 x 3 inches (H x W x D) and features internal organizers. The top front compartment is 7.5 x 2 x 4 inches (W x T x H), also with internal organizers, while the bottom front compartment measures 7.5 x 2 x 8 inches (W x T x H) and includes internal organization as well. With a 618-cubic-inch cargo capacity, the Gearslinger is compatible with a 100-ounce hydration reservoir.

Durable materials used in the Gearslinger's construction include 1000-denier water- and abrasion-resistant ballistic nylon fabric treated with Teflon for grime resistance and easy maintenance. High-strength zippers and zipper tracks, UTX-Duraflex nylon buckles for low-sound closures, and triple polyurethane coating provide water resistance. High-tensile strength nylon webbing, composite nylon thread, and #AS-100 high-grade closed-cell foam padding offer superior shock protection. Internal seams are taped and finished, with paracord zipper pulls and double-stitched stress points adding to the bag's ruggedness.

The shoulder strap is designed to go over the left shoulder, enabling better weapon shouldering. Top and side handles provide alternative carrying options, while the PALS modular webbing throughout allows easy attachment of accessories. A water bottle pocket is sized to fit a standard 32-ounce Nalgene bottle.
